Retail Deposit and Human Resources Officer - Full Time

Location: Sauk Centre Minnesota, office of Minnesota National Bank

An ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to apply professional knowledge and skills in the preparation and execution of strategic initiatives.  Retail Deposit responsibilities include managing a retail banking team (Personal Bankers and joint oversight of Customer Service Representatives/Tellers).  We welcome experience in Human Resources or the ability to learn and excel with new responsibilities.  Candidate will work with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and other Senior Officers with carrying out strategic initiatives and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • relate to our core values and behaviors and coach retail team to continued growth and success
  • implement deposit operations products and services to ensure compliance and customer success
  • oversight of overdraft processing, Reg E resolution and general deposit related compliance
  • lead all deposit related operational items
  • manage functionality of HR, payroll and time clock system
  • administration of bank 401k plan, Health Insurance, and all ancillary benefits
  • oversee all employee benefits, annual benefit renewals and open enrollment processes
  • facilitate current job openings and participate in interviews and pre-employment screening

 

Skills & Requirements:

  • college degree in similar fields of study
  • 2+ years of bank deposit and/or HR experience - preferred
  • project management experience - preferred
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • bank deposit management experience - preferred
  • human resources understanding and ability to learn
  • strong core banking system knowledge and/or experience
